What to Expect?
Sunday mornings at 10 am you can expect sincere worship, Bible-centered preaching, loving fellowship, as well as a desire to encounter the power and presence of God through the Holy Spirit.
What are my Next Steps?
Wether you are new believer or have been a follower of Christ for several years we believe there is a place for you here at Foley Assembly. The FAM Class is a 2-3 week course that takes place quarterly at 9:00 AM in the fellowship hall where you will learn more about our church, what we believe, and how you get plugged in.
What We Believe
THE BIBLE
We believe the Bible is divinely inspired by the Holy Spirit, the infallible revelation of God to man, the infallible authoritative rule of faith and conduct. Romans 15:4, 1 Thessalonians 2:14, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:20-21
HOLY SPIRIT
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit which is promised to all believers as the entrance into a Spirit-filled life; gifts of the Holy Spirit, power to be a witness, and an anointed servant of God. Joel 2:28-29, Luke 3:16, Acts 1:4-5, 8, 2:4, 38-39, 10:44-47, 1 Corinthians 12:4-11
GOD
We believe there is only true, eternal God revealed in three persons; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Genesis 1:1, 26, Dueteronomy 6:4, Isaiah 43:10-11, Matthew 28:19, Luke 3:22, 1 John 5:7
ETERNITY
We believe in the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost; that they are saved to everlasting resurrection life or lost to everlasting damnation. Acts 24:15, 1 Corinthians 15:20-23, Revelation 20:4-6, 12-15
JESUS CHRIST
We believe in the deity and humanity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, sacrificial death to save us from our sins, resurrection, ascension to heaven, and return. Matthew 1:21, 23, John 1:1-2, 14, 3:16, Acts 1:2-3, 9, 2:22
UNITY
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in out Lord Jesus Christ. John 17:22-29, Romans 15:5, Ephesians 4:3, 11-13
